ideaMaker® is integrated with specific slicing profiles for each of Raise3D‘s material, including filaments and resins, ensuring efficient slicing, providing reliable printing results. ideaMaker® also offers different slicing profile strategies for users in terms of surface quality and print speed.
Moreover, for FFF users, ideaMaker® allows full access to all filament profile parameters by accessing the Advacned Editing panel.
For third-party materials, Raise3D offers a rich, ever-expanding and performance-proven third-party material profile library – the ideaMaker Library. ideaMaker® also enables users to browse and import templates directly from the library inside the program, with only a few clicks.

Advanced Slicing Preview
ideaMaker® gives users a detailed preview of the final printing results by simulating not only the tool path but also exhibiting key information such as speed, layer height, extruder and structure type.
Adaptive Parameter Settings
ideaMaker® uses algorithms to compute the slicing parameters for layer height, infill structure, and support structure. By adapting parameters accordingly, the filament consumption and printing time will decrease while the surface finish quality is maintained.
Various Options for Parameter Settings
ideaMaker® offers multiple approaches to changing parameter settings for specific parts of loaded models. The selective setting can be done by group, by layers, and by volume.
Texture Generation
With ideaMaker® Texture, users can easily create different surface finishes for their 3D-printed models. The generated texture is defined by importing and adapting values of greyscale images.
Short Learning Curve for DLP
For Raise3D’s DF2+ and DF2 Solution, ideaMaker® provides consistent parameter templates covering printing, washing and curing, tailor-made for each of Raise3D’s resin products.
In addition, a series of specialized tools are offered to support DLP slicing. DF2+ and DF2 users will enjoy an increased first print success rate with ideaMaker®.
